The definition of a Vegan is a person who does not consume or use any animal products.

Nearly 10% of the population and growing are vegans, and so many of us want to use products which are cruelty free and free from animal testing. Its important to know the facts.

So, the actual Botox product is vegan. Yippee! However, because Botox is classified as a medicine, it has to ‘by law’ be tested on animals before it can be used in humans to ensure the safety and efficacy of the drug.

The product we use at Harley Street Aesthetics, is Botox by Allergan. They’ve stated that they want to eliminate animal testing by 95% within the next three years. Great news! So, can vegans have Botox? Well, it’s such a personal and individual choice. Just as it’s a personal choice to be vegan or not.

Like I said, the good news is that the actual product is not made from animal products, and the brand Allergan is trying to eliminate animal testing.
